“MC MEDICAL LOT” OOD is in active partnership with the Health and Safety Service of “LOT-CONSULT” EOOD, which accomplishes the following services in the field of Occupational Health and Safety:

1. Health and Safety Service /Certificate № 091-1/17.04.2008, issued by the Ministry of Health/, according to the requirements of State Regulation № 3/2008 of the Ministry of Health, and an expert team for risk assessment of the health and safety of the workers and the employees according to the requirements of State Regulation № 5/1999 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy and the Ministry of Health. The subscription service of the Health and Safety Service at “LOT-CONSULT” EOOD includes:

  • Medical control on entrance into working position, according to annex 4 of article 4 of the Regulation. The aim of the obligatory preliminary medical examinations is to be made assessment of the ability of the workers to accomplish certain profession, production activity, with a view to their state of health.
  • Preparing a schedule and a programme for the organization of the prophylactic examinations, according to article 2, paragraph 2 from the Regulation. The preliminary prophylactic examination is obligatory when the working conditions are unhealthy. Their aim is consistently observation of the health condition of these groups of workers and the early uncovering of professional diseases and injuries.
  • Analysis (audit) of the activities and the documentation for occupational medicine of the Assignor, according to the requirements of Regulation No 4 and the Low for Healthy and Safe working conditions.
  • Analysis (audit) of the documentation for risk assessment for the health and safety of the workers and the employees, according to the requirements of Regulation No 5/1999 of the Ministry of labour and Social policy and The Ministry of Health. Preparing of health characteristics of the workers and the employees, and its permanent actualization.
  • Organizing training courses of the Comities of working conditions and giving a certificate for accomplishing the course, according to Regulation No 4/1998.
  • Consultations for the health condition of the workers and the employees on their entrance into office and in case of termination of the working contract – on request.
  • Preparing recommendations for the reorganization of the working places, managing of work, and working conditions for sick workers and employees - on request.
  • Recommendations for the choice and effectiveness of the resources for collective and personal protection of the workers and employees.
  • Assessment of the conditions for sanitary attendance and consultancy assistance for its improvement.
  • Elaboration of physiological regimes for work and rest.
  • Organizing training courses for the workers and the employees according to the requirements for first aid, self-aid and mutual aid.
  • Assistance and participation in the meetings of the Committee for working conditions.
  • Consultancy assistance in implementation of the prescriptions of the inspection bodies of labour.
  • Participation in the commission for annual determination for the people, transferred to more appropriate job for reasons of health.
  • Giving information for changes in the legislation for health and safety working conditions.
  • Preparing an annual analysis for the state of health of the workers and employees according to the results of the prophylactic examinations, indexes for temporary and permanent disability and their connection to the working conditions, the data for the professional sick rate and the working injuries.
  • Determination of the periodicity of the obligatory medical check-ups of the workers and employees, according to the Regulation No 3/1987 of the Ministry of Health

2. Risk assessment for health and safety working conditions, according to the Law of Occupational Health and Safety Working Conditions and Regulation № 5 from 11.05.1999 of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, and The Ministry of Health. The risk assessment includes the working processes, the working technical equipment, the premises, working positions, the organization of labour, usage of raw materials and other factors that may cause a risk. The risk assessment includes the working processes, technical equipment, premises, working places, the usage of toxic substances, and other factors that may cause a risk. The report for the risk assessment includes:

Identification of the dangers in the working environment, the possibility of harm for the health of the workers and employees, the frequency on display, the heaviness of the harm and the quantitative expression of the risk, as well as recommendations/limits for liquidation and/or minimization of the risk, given in cards for every working place.

We pay special attention on the dangers of:

Electricity, fires, microclimate, noise and vibrations, low illumination, chemical agents (dust and toxic substances), unavailing ventilation, unguarded equipment, usage of the equipment for personal and collective defense, falling from height, heavy physical labour, stress at work, non-observance of the working regime etc.

The assessment of the professional risks is a process of analyzes and taking decisions, connected with dangers and risks. The results of the risk assessment are the base for further planning of the working process and providing of all needed recourses for its realization. There is a need of training for paying attention of the risks factors. The information for the safety and healthy working conditions is important and helps for:

  • Providing of more productive, healthy and safety working conditions by the managers
  • Realizing that the safety and health on the working place means good business
  • Decreasing of the occupational risks, protecting the health and saving time and money
